Oakes Truck Sales

In Business Since 1967 Oakes Truck Sales, originally called Oakes Garage, originated by Terry Oakes on Foster street in Perth behind the Oakes Bakery in 1967. Working in the back parking lot and a single bay garage the business was started, initially just himself then hiring an employee. Eventually purchasing property on Lanark road and building a larger shop Terry concentrated on Truck repair and Maintenance, along with Towing. In 1976 an addition was built adding three more bays for service and turning the front of the building into a body shop.
