BRT Bag Splitter C/W Drive, Sensors and Valves No Panel Included The BRT Bag Splitter Type P5 is a heavy-duty bag opening and splitting machine designed for the processing of municipal solid waste (MSW), commercial waste, refuse-derived fuel (RDF), and recyclable materials. The machine is engineered to open plastic bags and release their contents while minimizing shredding and size reduction of the material, thereby improving downstream sorting efficiency. The unit consists of a robust steel frame supporting a splitting chamber fitted with rotating opening elements. Material is fed into the hopper where bags are torn open and discharged onto subsequent conveying or screening equipment. Hydraulic and electric drive systems provide controlled operation, while safety guards and maintenance access panels ensure safe servicing.
