Description: Turn your forklift into an aerial work platform and safely go anywhere scissor lifts can’t with a Star Industries Safety Work Platform. This Work Platform from Star Industries is an expanded metal deck that provides a wider work platform than boom lifts and the 1000 lbs platform load capability and full perimeter guard rail system gives superior safety. A strong and rigid modular segment guardrail eliminates loose movement and provides for easy replacement of individual guard rails should break occur. Guard rails can be quickly removed and laid flat inside the platform for transport. Spring-loaded latches and spring hinges mean gates are automatically restricted for increased safety. An expanded metal deck with 1000 lbs platform capability provides a safe work area. Universal ‘slip-on-forks’ for easy attachment. Suitable for both extended reach and straight mask forklifts with a 48 inches or wider carriage and 48 inches long forks. Accepts forks up to 7 inches wide and 2¾ inches thick. Quick-Tach option also available (forklift must have quick-tach connector). Always use if the forklift is equipped with forks longer than 48 inches. Optional 42 inches wide x 84 inches tall mast protection screen (model 1250) protects the operator from forklift mast moving parts. Passed ANSI standards.
