The chipper Skorpion 250 SDT/G equipped with high dimension toothed upper roll and chain feeder, both hydraulically driven is designed for shredding tree limbs and logs with diameter of up to 250 mm.
This is a disc model with a pneumatic blow-out system installed on the disc. The cutting system consists of a disc with 2 or 3 cutting knives sharpened on either side. The propulsion system is a four-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine by Japanese Yanmar with capacity of 84 hp furnished with a bonnet too.
The essential equipment of the chipper includes a hydraulic propulsion system servicing the upper feeding roll and a crawler installed instead of normally used lower roll. Both of them are driven by hydraulic motors.
As a standard the chipper is also equipped with an electronic system of work control, protecting the machine against overload/excessive duty through temporary stopping the feeding unit.

Der Holzhacker Skorpion 250SDT mit Stahlbandkette zerkleinert Baumstämme und Äste mit hohem Grünanteil bis Durchmesser 250 mm. Skorpion 250SDT mit Stahlbandkette ist Scheibenhacker mit pneumatischem System des Auswerfens von Hackschnitzeln auf der Scheibe. Die Schneidgruppe besteht aus der Scheibe mit zwei oder drei angeschraubten beiderseitig geschliffenen Schneidmessern.

Der Antrieb bildet4 - Cylinder wassergekühlter Dieselmotor der japanischer Firma Yanmar 84 PS mit der Motorhaube zugebaut.
Der hydraulisch angetriebene Einzug besteht aus einer eingebauten Stahlbandkette und einer Anpressrolle.
Im Standard ist der Holzhacker mit elektronischem Kontrollsystem No-Stress ausgerüstet, das automatisch die Überlastung des Antriebssystems durch momentanes Anhalten des Einzugs verhindert.
Der Holzhacker ist mit Auflaufbremse und Schleppkupplung in der Form von Zugkugelkupplung oder DIN-Zugöse ausgestattet.
